REPRODUCTION IN 2022

After resuming activities in 2021, we also felt it appropriate to proceed with preserving the genetic heritage of some specimens in our organisation in 2022, through the proliferation of lineage. This involved four pairs of dogs in their first cycle of reproduction, with the exception of a female that had given birth previously.

All of the mothers gave birth outdoors and nursed their young in solitude, without supporting facilities and without any need for intervention, in line with their traditional natural ways and their primordial instincts. The females were then provided with the conditions to enable them to wean their young autonomously, deciding when to offer raw or pre-digested food.
